what when why places greater trust in its own talent

Effective March 1, 2026, the Ludwigsburg-based agency what when why has appointed Jana Leonhardt as Project Manager (Events). The 25-year-old joined the agency—which specializes in event-centric B2B communication—as a Junior Project Manager in December 2023. Since then, she has supported numerous projects for clients such as LBBW, Bansbach, Bechtle, and Hager, establishing herself as a reliable and highly valued project manager.

In her new role, the avid snowboarder and cyclist is responsible for planning, managing, and executing event projects both domestically and internationally. She is also part of the operations team led by Christian Heuer (Authorized Signatory and Head of Operations) and contributes to the development and implementation of emotional, innovative, and multidimensional anniversary and brand campaigns.

Jana Leonhardt studied Business Administration with a specialization in trade fair, congress, and event management at DHBW Mannheim. Prior to this, she gained practical experience at companies including Daimler AG and Deutsche Post.

She is distinguished by a combination of structural clarity, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail—all without losing sight of the big picture. Her engaging and friendly demeanor makes her a strong project partner, both within the team and in client relations.

"Jana impressed us from day one with her calm and reliable nature. Her passionate approach to project management and strong self-organization confirmed the potential we saw in her. It is therefore a natural step for her to take on more responsibility after just two years," says Christian Heuer.
