"Work(shop) in progress"
Stuttgart. We’ve all been there: Metaplan boards as far as the eye can see… and ZERO atmosphere. That’s no fun at all!
How about a modular and adaptable workspace that creates an open and constructive working atmosphere? One that can be flexibly adapted to different working situations and any location? The Stuttgart-based event agency what when why has reinterpreted the all-too-familiar workshop design. Ready for immediate use in any location!
The versatile space concept consists of a pallet structure with a panel system that, on the one hand, structures the space and, on the other, offers enough open space and room for thought for the workshops: “We call it ‘Work(shop) in Progress’,” says Carsten Knieriem, managing director of the Stuttgart-based event agency. “It allows us to easily create the right
atmosphere for any working situation: an open marketplace, breakout areas for a focused working atmosphere, and small and large presentation areas. Even last-minute reconfiguration is possible just-in-time. Even the creative details are fun and inspiring.”
The specific safety requirements for events were taken into account during the planning process, as was the need for maximum flexibility. Thanks to a clever and easy-to-use system, the walls can be moved easily as required, allowing the entire spatial layout to be reconfigured.
The combination of the communication concept and the work-in-progress architecture creates workspaces and thinking spaces that make focused training and engaging workshops feel almost like a feel-good experience.
