Christoph Sonntag as patron for a good cause
Around 250 invited entrepreneurs, donors, sponsors and interested parties gathered at the Phoenixhalle in Stuttgart’s Römerkastell to mark the launch of the Stay Foundation’s new fundraising campaign, “Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs”. Under the motto “Stay the Night”, guests were given an insight into the aims and purpose of the foundation and the new fundraising campaign, which was developed in close collaboration with what when why®.

The foundation’s aim is to demonstrate and implement a novel and guaranteed sustainable approach to development aid, one that focuses on local social entrepreneurs and supports them directly on the ground.

With the support of committed entrepreneurs from the Stuttgart metropolitan region, the next step will now be taken in collaboration with local social entrepreneurs in developing countries, thereby expanding the so-called “Stay Alliance”.

The “Stay the Night” gala certainly lived up to expectations, featuring a panel discussion with a star-studded line-up, an entertaining programme of performances, and another special highlight: a live link-up with Uganda, during which three local social entrepreneurs spoke about their experiences and successes with the “Stay Alliance” concept.
“To build a successful business, you need a certain mindset, consistency, courage and the will to change things. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a social service or a commercial product,” said Benjamin Wolf, founder of the Stay Foundation.
